Launched in 2010, Hungary's Comprehensive Health Screening Programme (MÁESZ) is the largest humanitarian health protection programme in Hungary. Being a responsible company, Egis – a Diamond Sponsor of the initiative once again - has offered six screening days to Kőbánya (Budapest), thus helping to maintain the health of the X. district's residents.

Participants of the screening program were given information on their health status: the health checks covered not only the most common health issues, such as cardiovascular disease but also a range of other health problems, including musculoskeletal diseases, eye diseases and hearing loss.  Over the years the program has become more and more popular:  in 2010 screenings were available at 144 locations, by 2019 their number reached 190, while the number of screenings performed almost doubled, going from 423,000 to nearly 800,000.

If the results of the screening indicated possible health risks, participants were not only made aware of them, but they were also given advice on what lifestyle changes they should make. Yearly published statistics show that interest in the program has also increased, from around 40,000 people in 2010, when the programme was launched, to over 60,000 participants in 2019.
