Throughout the year our company has celebrated the 110th anniversary of its foundation. Not only several initiatives have been launched to commemorate this notable event, but the jubilee year also presented a great opportunity to look back on the past eleven decades of our company.

Throughout the year our company has celebrated the 110th anniversary of its foundation. Not only several initiatives have been launched to commemorate this notable event, but the jubilee year also presented a great opportunity to look back on the past eleven decades of our company.

Since February – when the jubilee year began – we have launched multiple projects related to different periods in our company's history. At the Ménesi út street party we remembered dr Sándor Balla, the founder, owner and CEO of Dr Wander Pharmaceuticals and Nutriments Ltd at his former residence and we also reminisced the first decades following the launch of the company. The fate of István Örkény conveys the peculiar atmosphere of the 1950s and the 1960s. For expressing his solidarity with the Hungarian Revolution in 1956, the writer was banned from publishing his works. As Örkény held a degree in pharmacy and chemical engineering, he earned his living as an employee of the company between 1958 and 1963. The initiatives related to the town of  Körmend have a reference to the events of the seventies, as production at the Körmend site started in that decade.
In addition to these important milestones, many other major episodes are included in the recently completed animated timeline. The compilation aims at recounting the most important events that have shaped the life and the history of the company. The photos illustrating the data and facts authentically evoke the atmosphere of a certain era and reveal the historical background of an event.
The concise three-and-a-half-minute short film guides the viewer through the process, by which a modest nutriment factory founded in Kőbánya has grown into one of the leading generic pharmaceutical companies in Central and Eastern Europe.
