On this occasion we would like to invite those interested in reminiscence of the past to take a short walk down memory lane.

The legal predecessor of Egis was founded in 1913 by the Hungarian pharmacist Sándor Balla and the Swiss Albert Wander. Almost one hundred and ten years have passed by since and our company has been through several changes. Numerous documents, works of art, and objects from its past have become pieces of industrial history and now enrich the collection of museums.

If you want to know more about our past, you can check out some curiosities (in Hungarian) from the first hundred years of our company, or by visiting the "Egis History" page you can learn more about the main milestones of our history.
