The online round of the Egis-KutÉj chemistry competition includes both theoretical tasks (as usual) and some current issues that highlight how strong knowledge of chemistry can be employed in specific professions and fields, and can contribute to finding a solution to issues such as the use of solar energy, the assessment of microplastic pollution and reducing the environmental impact of steel production.
Members of a team can be from different classes and grades of the same school, this gives the young participants the opportunity to complement each other's knowledge and work as a real team.
