Collecting Plastic Bottlecaps – With Some Creativity

At Egis, we have selective waste collection at our heart.

One of our company’s primary objectives is to reduce the impact of our activities on the environment to the greatest possible extent and to encourage our colleagues to implement environmentally conscious practices in their everyday life. In April, during our Environmental Awareness Month, particular attention was given to these topics.

We support selective waste collection with a new initiative: heart-shaped containers for collecting bottle caps have been placed at our sites in Körmend and at Keresztúri street in Budapest. The water, juice and soda bottle caps are good quality, clean waste materials that can be reused in many ways, for example as regranulate – plastic waste ground into small particles for recycling –, but also for the manufacturing of pallets, crates or outdoor furniture.
