As a company committed to supporting promising young talents, Egis offered a special prize for the author of an outstanding research paper in the 2020-21 academic year as well.
The Conference was held in December, so it had to be moved online because of the pandemic situation.
The fact that in two sessions a total of eighteen young speakers (BSc or MSc students) presented their research in Hungarian or in English, reflected the wide variety of the topics.
Egis’ Special Prize was awarded to Attila Csomos, a second-year MSc chemistry student for his paper titled "Design, synthesis and analysis of novel fluorescent probes for two-photon zinc imaging".  With the epidemic situation improving, he was now handed the award certificate by the Director of the Institute, Dr István Szalai personally.
